Biography

Korumbà band was formed in 2001, but was in 2005 when it acquired its present character. Although members are from different locations, the band´s headquarters are in Orereta, Gipuzkoa.Their musical style is situated around the metal, but no specific type. 

Korumbà have been active partners of the label Musikherria since its introduction at the fair in Durango, as well as the tour gaztetxe. In 2006 released a demo of 4 songs. It is remarkable the number of concerts held in that year: Iparralde (Sara, ...), Ziburu Bizkaia (Larrabetzu, Lekeitio ...) Nafarroa 8Aibar, Domeño ,....), Gipuzkoa (Lezo, Egia, Irun , Pasaia ,...). In 2007, also played in the room Tunk!, Lekunberri and Elizondo. 

In 2008 Korumbà left Musikherria and decided to publish his first work on their own, called Hor Do! and published in 2009. At the same time they embarked on the tour Santanik Tour, which gave them the opportunity to play with many groups. 

Following the tour the band gathered the award for best band of 2009 by the Los + Mejores magazine. 

But the best reflection of the energy of the live band were the criticisms of the tour Santanik Tour. These are some examples of what is collected by the state's most important publications:
